Gila Co. auction includes 45 autos, trucks



(Globe AZ) Gila County will conduct the second quarter online auction to dispose of surplus property beginning Monday, May 5, 2014. There will be 45 various automobiles, including cars, trucks, and vans, as well as a dump truck, a bucket truck, and three steel water tankers.

Interested persons may view a complete list of the items with a photo and a brief description on the County website at www.gilacountyaz.gov

It must be noted that this is an online only auction.  Internet access is required to bid on any items.  [Note: free internet access available at all libraries in Gila County.]  Also, bidders must be registered at the auction site, www.publicsurplus.com, and may do so in advance of the May 5 “go live” date.

Bidding will begin May 5th, at 12:01 a.m. and close on May 16th at 7:00 p.m.

All items are offered “as is” with no seller’s warranty.

 Any incorporated entity within Gila County has the opportunity to purchase any item that will be placed on the auction web site prior to the beginning date of the auction.

The price for the item will be the minimum or reserve for said item.

On January 31, 2014, the first quarter auction was conclude with a total of 33 vehicles, and 12 miscellaneous items sold.Net proceeds of the auction we $61,559.99.  There were five vehicles advertised in that auction that did not sell, and have been added to the May 5, 2014 auction.
