Main St. Electric Light Parade is Dec. 7



It’s time again for the APS Electric Light Parade!  Saturday, December 7, 2013 will be the 13th Annual Electric Light Parade on Historic Main Street in Payson.  This is a fun-filled event of lighted floats, walking groups and equestrian riders who will parade down the street starting at 6:00 p.m.  This is a rain or shine event.

Cameron Davis - Parks, Recreation and Tourism Director for the Town of Payson, said "We had some fun with the theme this year, it will be a Charlie Brown Christmas".  He is inviting all businesses, church groups and other organizations to come and join in the fun of the season.  All entries must be decorated with lights.

Applications are available at the Town of Payson - Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department located at 1000 W. Country Club or you can go to www.paysonrimcountry.com and print it off. All applications are due by December 2, 2013 by 3:00 pm. 

SPECIAL ANNOUNCMENT:
"FAMOUS" AWARD WINNING FIESTA BOWL PINE TREES TO BE FEATURED IN THIS YEAR'S APS ELECTRIC LIGHT PARADE!
The "Trees" that won over everyone's heart's at last year's Fiesta Bowl Parade will be making an appearance this year in the Electric Light Parade to help gather canned food and monetary donations for the Local FOOD DRIVE. There are two ways you can donate. You can either give your items to a Tree during the parade as they walk down the street or you can visit them immediately following the parade at SANTA'S AFTER PARTY at Macky's Grill in Sawmill Crossing. Bring your camera and come meet Santa and all the Fiesta Bowl Trees.
