Student of Pavarotti next on TCCA schedule

Payson, Ariz. On October 27, 2013

Live On Stage, Inc. and the Tonto Community Concert Association Announce
Broadway sensation as part of their 2013 - 2014 Concert Season

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (September 30, 2013) – Franc D’Ambrosio, famed as “the world’s longest-running Phantom,” brings the stage to life in his inimitable style at the Payson High School Auditorium in Payson, Arizona on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 2:30 p.m.  Single tickets are $35 as available.  Children and students under the age of 18 will be admitted free when accompanied by a ticket holding adult.  Season tickets for the eight-concert series are $90.  For more information visit the association website at www.tccarim.org or call 928-478-4363 or 928-474-4189.

D’Ambrosio will also be presenting an educational outreach program for students in grades K-12 on Monday, October 28 sponsored by the Tonto Community Concert Association.

FrancDAmbosio_LOSPRessBest known for his decade-long appearance in lead role of the Tony Award-winning musical “The Phantom of the Opera,” Franc D’Ambrosio also performed the Academy Award-winning theme song “Speak Softly Love” as the opera singing son of Michael Corleone in “Godfather III.”  He studied under the late Luciano Pavarotti, was picked by Barry Manilow to play the male lead in the pre-Broadway tour of “Copacabana” and earned two GRAMMY® considerations for “Best Male Vocalist” (1999) and “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album” (2005).  Other notable appearances include Dorothy Hamill’s “Broadway on Ice” and “Miss Saigon” with the Louisiana Lyric Opera.  D’Ambrosio is also an active educator, delivering master classes and lectures around the world, including the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (Spoleto, Italy), the Julliard School and American Academy of Dramatic Arts (New York).  Follow this link to view a video featuring Franc D'Ambrosio.
