Rim Country Memorial Day events


All citizens are invited to join with friends and neighbors
to remember those who have died in our nation's service
and honor those who have defended, and continue to
defend, the standards and values upon which our country
was founded.

Please take time to honor these brave men and women by
participating in one or more of the following services --
this year's program will consist of FOUR separate tributes:

MEMORIAL DAY TRIBUTES • SUNDAY - MAY 26, 2013
PIONEER CEMETERY TRIBUTE

● 8:00 AM - The Annual Pioneer Cemetery Tribute begins
with a Flag Raising Ceremony at sunrise and opens the
cemetery for visitation -- this tribute is sponsored by
the Pioneer Cemetery Board.

MEMORIAL DAY TRIBUTES • SUNDAY - MAY 26, 2013
MOUNTAIN MEADOWS CEMETERY TRIBUTE

● 10:00 AM - The Annual Mountain Meadows Tribute in
Round Valley. This tribute is sponsored by the Messinger
Funeral Home and supported by the Payson Patriotic 
Events Committee, the VFW and the American Legion.

MEMORIAL DAY is proclaimed as a National Holiday, set aside
to remember those who have paid the supreme sacrifice and
to honor our veterans and members of the armed forces for
their service to our great country.

Also, please be reminded that, by Presidential Resolution,
at 3:00/PM (local time) on MEMORIAL DAY, all Americans
are asked to voluntarily and informally observe, in their
own way, a moment of silence in honor of the occasion.
