What a run Bootleg Alley Antiques & Art has
had with First Friday on Main St.! Our unique store has participated in
66 consecutive First Friday gatherings. A love of music, fun, and
ambience along with Payson friends has enriched our experience.
Unfortunately, stores close to us have gone out of
business and no longer participate in First Friday. With
regret, we have decided it is not practical
to continue hosting the first Friday each month. We feel
torn as we really enjoy the event and were one of its founders.
(It is our understanding that Artist of the Rim and Down the Street plan to be
open for First Friday in December.)
During our six years on Main St., changing times have
caused retail businesses to come and go. As the economy
improves, we believe that antique, collectible and retail stores will
once again fill the now empty buildings on this busy street. When
that happens, Bootleg Alley Antiques & Art hopes to continue
our monthly party for Payson's locals and tourists. Even though
we're not participating in First Friday this winter, we plan to stay
open for our regular business hours.
We feel that Historic Main St., where this town's first
Christmas tree stood in 1882, remains the "Heart of Payson". We
encourage everyone to shop local this holiday season. Let's all do our
part to keep Payson's heart beating loudly.

Down the Street celebrates First Friday
Down the Street Art Gallery wishes everyone an art
filled Holiday. Red Boxes filled with free Art, coupons for great Art deals
and little treats can be yours for a small donation to Community Art Fund.
This
First Friday, come enjoy a cup of holiday Cheer with our artists, and meet new
artist Janice Hoyt. Her art in charcoal, ink and watermedia is
featured this month.
