A recent AARP article states that broadcast stations can reject outside
groups' ads or insist that they stick to the facts. It is so important that
information about candidates, policies, and issues is actually true.
Go to "Stand by Your Ad" page at www.FlackCheck.org and e-mail your local
(Phoenix) station managers. Encourage them to protect their viewers from
air pollution. It takes about two minutes. More than 900 of the 1047 station
managers have already heard from their viewers. Please make your voice
heard now.
