Newton honors AZ's birthday with 'Viva Las Vegas'

OK, let's start our Wednesday off with this.  Seems the Bozos who run this state outdid themselves in staging Arizona's Centennial celebration.

Yesterday at 2:10 p.m., singer Wayne Newton appeared in concert at the state capitol as part of the festivities.  His opening number: "Viva Las Vegas."

Why, in a state with such a tarnished image, would our glorious leaders bring in a has-been goofball like Newton in the first place?  And wouldn't you think somebody would ask to see his playlist - or at least remind him that he's here to help celebrate ARIZONA'S BIRTHDAY? 

But then, in a state where education is such a very low priority, why would we expect anything more?  You get what you elect.
