Watch Longhorn Band perform at Pearl Harbor

The Payson High School Longhorn Marching Band is in Hawaii to perform for the 70th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, Wednesday, Dec. 7.

Watch the live stream, starting at 2:30 p.m. at www.channel808.tv. The Longhorn Band and its director, PHS music teacher Daria Mason, joins 11 other college, high school and community bands selected by the event organizers to represent their states and home towns for this special performance directed by Pearl Harbor survivor, Allen Bodenlos.

The bands will perform a patriotic program pierside at the USS Missouri Memorial and just a ship’s length from the USS Arizona Memorial. The USS Arizona was destroyed in the December 7, 1941 attack. The Japanese surrender on September 2, 1945 was signed aboard the USS Missouri.
