Not into rodeo?  If you're headed south for the weekend, here's what ADOT wants you to know about Valley freeway closures and restrictions:

Weekend Valley Closures and Restrictions
August 19-22

Drivers should be aware of the following restrictions:

Westbound Loop 101 closed between Tatum Boulevard and 35th Avenue in north Phoenix from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Aug. 22) for HOV lane project. Northbound State Route 51 ramp to westbound Loop 101 also closed.

Northbound Loop 101 closed between Interstate 10 and Glendale Avenue in West Valley from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Aug. 22) for HOV lane project. Both I-10 ramps to northbound Loop 101 closed.

Eastbound Interstate 10 (toward Tucson) narrowed to two lanes between Chandler and Wild Horse Pass boulevards from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Aug. 22) for HOV lane construction.
