The school may be shuttered, but the playground at Frontier Elementary School will be open for children to use during designated hours.
Thanks to an agreement between neighbors in the Frontier area and the Payson Unified School District Board of Directors, effective July 16 the playground will be open weekdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
