Service for Strawberry resident James Clark Oct. 7

James Clark
1929 - 2010

James Clark, 81, of Strawberry, Ariz. passed away on Oct. 2, 2010. Jim was born on Feb. 26, 1929 to Walter and Dorothy Clark in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He married Dolores Noll on Aug. 12, 1950.  In 1959 Jim and Dolores moved from Ohio to Arizona where together they started and operated both Valley Steam Cleaners and then later Prescott Valley Travel and J&D Tours until his retirement in 1988.

Jim is survived by his beautiful and devoted wife of 60 years, Dolores; daughters, Linda Kolich (Tom), Nancy Files (Robert), and Jane Daniel (Bruce); son, Richard Clark (Rebecca); grandchildren, Andrea, Annibale (Steve), Angela Lawrence (Tony), Kristen Severson (Doug), Michael Files (Isha), Kevin Files, Christopher and Alex Daniel, Samatha, Chase and Madison Clark; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Nicolas, Kathryn, Julie, Jude, Kaiyan, Claire and Kaysen.

Jim was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home, 302 W. Aero Dr., Payson. Donations in Jim’s name may be made to the Humane Society of Central Arizona, 812 S. McLane Rd,, Payson, AZ 85541.

Rest in Peace Mr. Clark.... I will forever remember you as a kind piece of my child hood....always a smile when I popped my head in the door, although I irritated you, you never let me know. You will be missed!
