New officers have been elected for the El Caballo Club, the non-profit organization that operates the Mesa del Caballo Community Center.
President is Jim Keyworth, vice president is Alan Shortridge, secretary is Minnie Norman and treasurer is Randy Norman. Also elected to the board of directors are Don Ennen, Irene Schwartzbauer, Linda Shortridge and Diane Johannessen.
Among the plans for the coming year: establishment of the Garden of Eds, a demonstration xeriscape garden honoring the contributions to the community of Ed Schwebel, Ed Blose and Ed Zumach.
