Mesa del Caballo improves to stage 2 restrictions

Mesa Del Caballo was placed on Stage 2 Water Conservation effective Tuesday, June 8. This conservation stage will remain in effect until further notice is provided to customers by e-mail and changing stage signs.

Brooke Utilities has begun water hauling to Mesa del Caballo, and that is apparently responsible for the improvement from Stage 4 restrictions.

Stage 2 Definition: Under Stage 2, voluntary conservation measures may be employed by customers to reduce water consumption by ten percent (10%). Outside watering on weekends and holidays should be curtailed. Outside vegetation watering may occur during weekday periods on even days of the month for even numbered lots, and odd numbered days of the month for odd numbered lots.
