Payson Youth Org. co-founder Lynne Golliglee dies

Lynne Katherine Golliglee, age 66, passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2010. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends.

Lynne was born into this life on Oct. 16, 1943 in Omaha, Nebraska to Gerald and Rose Warren. On Aug. 4th, 1962 she was wed to her husband Stephen Charles Golliglee. Upon leaving Nebraska, the couple spent their married years in Kirkland, Washington; Troutdale, Oregon; Memphis, Tennessee; and finally settled in Payson, Arizona. They brought three beautiful girls into this world.

While residing in Oregon, she served as president of Portland’s Women in Construction. In Arizona, she was a founding member of the Payson Youth Organization and she and her husband were active members of the Payson Pro-Rodeo Committee. For the past fifteen years, she served as CFO in her daughter’s company, Global Media.

Lynne leaves behind a family who loved her dearly and will miss her always. She is survived by her daughters, Shaun Kathleen Bittick and son-in-law Mark of Reno, Nevada and Sheelah Jo Golliglee of Payson, Arizona; four grandchildren, Braden Charles Cree Bittick and Erin Lynsey Bittick of Reno, and Tianna Lynne Golliglee and Tanner Charles Golliglee of Payson. Tianna blessed Lynne with a great granddaughter, Rhia Lynne Shay Golliglee. She is also survived by her older brother, Reed William Warren, of Duvall, Washington and younger brother, Kent Richard Warren and sister-in-law Karin of La Center, Washington. She also leaves behind five nieces and three nephews who along with their families will always remember her as their favorite Auntie Lynne.

Until we meet again, Lynne will spend her days in heaven with her parents Gerald and Rose Warren, her daughter Colleen, and her husband Stephen Charles Golliglee.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Payson First Assembly of God, 1100 West Lake Drive, Payson, AZ 85541. For additional information please contact Messinger Payson Funeral Home at (928) 474-2800.
